Grant's adaptation of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's epic and beloved poem THE RIME OF THE ANCIENT MARINER has had several readings and looks to be workshopped soon. A play with music, the adaptation is a dramatic expansion of Coleridge's haunting and enduring masterpiece. Full of rough magic, the classic tale springs to life onstage with live musicians and cunning theatricality and throws a timely and sharp focus on the ecological crisis as well as the isolation of the Covid19 pandemic. THE FORGERIES OF JEALOUSY
Grant's forthcoming play THE FORGERIES OF JEALOUSY will have its first reading in the spring of 2024. Based on the unlikely true story of William Henry Ireland who, in 1796 at the age of 19, pulled off the biggest Shakespearean hoax in history. Set in the regency, the play deals with themes of identity, sexuality and the prejudices of art and acceptance. |

THESE GUILDED MONUMENTS
THESE GUILDED MONUMENTS, Grant's first play, about Junius, Edwin, and John Wilkes Booth and their one and only performance together in Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, takes place in New York on November 25, 1864.
