WORDS CUBED
The Utah Shakespeare Festival has selected Grant’s play The Forgeries of Jealousy for Words Cubed 2026. Words Cubed is a professionally supported platform for readings, workshops, and fully realized productions and is a part of The Utah Shakespeare Festival’s ongoing commitment to create a diverse body of work.
A prestigious distinction, past playwrights have included Lauren Gunderson, Neil LaBute, Amy Freed, Mike Reiss, Lydia Diamond, Mark St. Germain, Nicholas Dunn, Christine Whitley, and Art Manke.
Grant recently became a member of the Acting and Directing Studio at Shakespeare’s Globe in London. This past May, he participated alongside Directors from Turkey, Albania, Malta, Scotland, Ireland, England and the U.S. in an International Directors’ Fellowship. Working with members of The Globe Acting Company in the rrenowned Sam Wanamaker playhouse - a replica of Shakespeare’s indoor Blackfriar’s Theatre - the cohort explored Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale and the unique demands of the candle-lit Jacobean Playhouse.

THE IMMORTAL
Grant appears in the forthcoming film The Immortal directed by award-winning independent filmmaker Matthew Paul Everitt. A modern “sequel” of sorts to Jorge Luis Borges’ beloved story of the same name, The Immortal will premiere at The Cindependent Film Festival in September.

Next Spring, Grant will play Rupert Cadell in Jeffrey Hatcher’s new adaptation of Rope. Rupert, the sharp, quick-witted former teacher and intellectual mentor to the killers whose philosophy inspired their crime, was played by Jimmy Stewart in Alfred Hitchock’s film of the same name.
